Executive Assistant to Teri Nelson Carpenter:
Kayla Lawson
Kayla Lawson is a native Tennessean who has taken on the role of Executive Assistant to Teri Nelson Carpenter after graduating from Belmont University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Music Business early this May. She will be working alongside Teri on Business Development as well as taking over RMW’s social media. Kayla is so excited to be a part of the RMW team!

Jessie Mellott
Jessie Mellott joined the RMW team in mid-May after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Belmont University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Music Business. Jessie discovered her passion for music publishing through the variety of internships she had throughout her college experience and is thrilled to be a part of the RMW family as the Music Copyright and Claims Assistant!
RMW Summer Interns
Miriam DeYoung
Originally from West Michigan, Miriam DeYoung moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University, and has just finished her second year in the Songwriting and Music Business programs. Miriam took on the role of RMW’s creative intern for the spring semester and worked on a variety of projects with our creative team in the studio. For the summer she has transitioned to a new role in the office assisting our catalog and sync coordinator on some big projects. Miriam is excited to continue to expand her learning with the RMW team this summer!
Cooper Carr
Cooper Carr is originally from Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Nashville in 2020. He is in his final year studying Audio Engineering with a minor in Music Business at Belmont University. This summer, he is working as RMW’s creative intern where he collaborates with Zach and Armando on Studio 507’s projects. Cooper is a songwriter, musician and producer who is passionate about the creative process and helping artists bring their visions to life. He is very excited about the opportunity to be a part of RMW’s team this summer.
Katelyn Meyers
Katelyn Meyer is originally from New Jersey and moved to Nashville to study Music Business at Belmont University. Once she graduates in December, she plans on attending law school and pursuing a career in entertainment law. She is continuing her role as the administrative intern that she began back in the spring semester. Katelyn is looking forward to continuing to assist the team as best she can as well as expanding on her learning with the RMW team!
