Zip and the Tiny Sprouts Animated Series Launches in Australia

Tomorrow is the official Australian launch of RMW’s administered children’s animation production Zip and the Tiny Sprouts! It will be broadcast on ABC Kids and available for streaming on ABCiView.

Zip and the Tiny Sprouts is the flagship animated series of Tiny Souls Media, an educational media company that provides resources and products to support social emotion learning in children.

The show is set in Harmony Hollow, where characters Zip, Aria, Riff, and Hum inspire preschoolers to learn about kindness, patience, and creativity through engaging songs and stories.

BPM in Nashville

RMW hosted 20 students from Toronto Metropolitan University for our second annual BPM week. While in Nashville, the students spent 5 days exploring the city’s music scene. They had the opportunity to explore different landmarks and museums that highlighted the impact music has had on Nashville and the global music scene. The students attended panels with industry insiders, attended workshops and writing sessions, spent an evening at the legendary BlueBird Cafe, and more.

Reel Muzik Werks Moves to Historic Music Row

RMW first moved its headquarters to Nashville in 2020. After 5 years in Berry Hill, we made the moved to Music Row. This move has allowed us to be able to expand our office space on both the admin and creative side. We have a studio featuring two distinct iso booths, one specifically for tracking vocals and one set up with a piano and drum kit to track instrumentals. There is a separate writing room equipped with a keyboard and monitors to allow writers to plug and play. Both spaces are available to rent. Please see the link below.

Stan & Gran Animated Series Launches in the UK

RMW’s administered animated children’s production Stan & Gran is now available on broadcast and streaming in the UK!

Commissioned by Channel 5’s Milkshake!, the series centers around 7-year-old Stan and his 71-year-old Gran as they investigate mysterious goings-on in the fictional coastal town of Porthole. Each episode sparks curiosity about nature, friendship, and the world around us.

MEGG Signs With 507 Publishing

MEGG has signed an exclusive publishing agreement with 507 Publishing.

“I’ve been waiting a long time to find a team who truly believes in my music and who I am as an artist – it feels really good to have found a home in 507 Publishing with people I trust, ” says MEGG. “This team is small but mighty and I’m stoked to be partnering with 507 Publishing for this next chapter of my career.”

A California native, MEGG has penned songs with Scott Hoying, Matias Mora, CASTLE, Rob Nagelhout, KTL, AJ Peacox, Shawn K and more. She recently played the 30th anniversary of Van’s Warped Tour, opened for The Used at Musink, shared the stage with KISS and more.

Lillie Kolich has signed an exclusive publishing deal with 507 Publishing.

Foster Ferrell Signs With 507 Publishing

Songwriter and producer Foster Ferrell has inked with 507 Publishing.

Ferrell is a Nashville-based songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist known for his versatile work across genres, penning songs for Olivia Lane, Katie Flemming, Chandler Letner and more.

“I’m so excited and honored to be working with everyone at 507 Publishing,” says Ferrell. “It’s such a wonderful place to call home, and I know we have a lot of wonderful songs in our future together!”

Teri Nelson Carpenter has launched a new Nashville-based company, 507 Publishing, a division of Reel Muzik Werks.

CEO Nelson Carpenter launched parent company Reel Muzik Werks in 2009 in Los Angeles as a film/TV music company with a specialty in international rights management. The new 507 Publishing A&R team will include A&R Manager Madison Policastri and Producer/A&R Coordinator Cooper Carr.

Policastri launched her career at Demolition Music Publishing, later moving to Red Street Records, and joined the team in May 2024 to handle session booking, song plugging, label services and artist/songwriter development.

Carr interned with Reel Muzik Werks before joining the team. He brings experience as a producer, songwriter and audio engineer to his new role at 507, where he assists in session booking, song-plugging and producing music for the catalog.

“507 Publishing will steer Reel Muzik Werks in a direction of artistic growth in many ways,” says Carpenter. “I’m so excited about the future of this new endeavor, where great music will emerge from our new slate of creatives. It’s not every day you get the privilege of working with such incredible talent. I am looking forward to exceptional music and opportunities from our young and innovative team.”

Reel Muzik Werks has experienced a lot of change over the past few weeks, including welcoming three new members to the RMW team. Check out their bios below to learn more about the new team members and their roles. We are so excited to see what this new season of growth and change brings.

Studio Coordinator

Cooper Carr is an audio engineer, producer, musician and songwriter originally from Kansas City, MO. He moved to Nashville in 2020, and recently completed his degree at Belmont University in audio engineering with a minor in music business. Cooper is passionate about helping other’s creative visions come to life. As a former Reel Muzik Werks intern, he is very excited to join RMW full time as the new Studio Coordinator.

Music Royalties & Claims Assistant

Kati Reynolds is originally from Castle Rock, CO and came to Nashville to pursue her BBA in Music Business at Belmont University. After graduating in May, she has joined the Reel Muzik Werks team as the new Music Royalties & Claims Assistant. She loves metal music, Taylor Swift, hiking, and a good game of solitaire. Kati is so excited to be joining the RMW team!

Music Admin & Copyright Assistant

Brandon Jones is a recent graduate from Belmont University working as the Music Admin and Copyright Assistant at RMW. Coming from a small town in Oklahoma, he has had big dreams of working in the music industry since he moved to Nashville for college, and he is thrilled to be putting his degree to great use! Outside of work, he’s a music producer who loves to travel and hang out with his cats.
