RMW team member Dave Carpenter visited Thailand in the 2007 New Year and again with team member Stefanie Carpenter in 2009.  They donated their time for electrical and carpentry work which included the building of bunk beds and church pews.  They also aided in clearing forests for building, medical checkups and documentation, cooking, sewing, recreational activities as well as participating and organizing a New Years Carnival for remote villagers.
