Termidor
The Termidor Music Publishing Company was founded in 1985 specializing in Latin Music. Today, Termidor owns over 30,000 classic Latin copyrights.

Termidor has had much success with many other singers, instrumentalists, composers and arrangers of the Latin genre and Termidor songs were part of the trail-blazing album "Buena Vista Social Club", an accompaniment to the film of the same name, in which top artists from Cuba succeeded were again widely exposed to global audiences . Also, the company was responsible for a number of tracks on Ibrahim Ferrer's late solo debut: at the age of 72 the legendary singer from the Buena Vista Social Club made the charts with his debut album.

Termidor has worked with Cuban artists such as Astor Piazzolla, Mercedes Sosa, Atahualpa Yupanqui, Juan Formell (of Los Van Van), Adalberto Alvarez and, "Chucho" Valdes (of Irakere) and Gonzalo Rubalcaba as well as US based artists Arturo Sandoval and some of the big names from New York"s Latino scene - Ruben Blades, Willie Colon, Ray Barretto, Eddie Palmiere etc have also worked with Termidor.

Since the middle of the 1990's Termidor Publishing has expanded its' profile to work with a few affiliated record companies. First the label, "Pa'ti Pa'mi Promociones" was set up to release merengue and salsa music in Europe with albums by Frankie Ruiz, Victor Roque, Hansel Martinez, Wilfrido Vargas etc.

In 1999, the "Timba" label was founded with a focus on releases from artists from the current Cuban scene ( like Cesar "Pupy" Pedroso or Eduardo "Tiburon" Morales) and the modern styles of timba and songo. In that same year, Termidor, together with EfA Medien GmbH, started the "Connector" label. This label was home to artists such as Rudy Calzado, Julio Barreto, Paquito D' Rivera, Ray Barretto, Jane Bunnett, Michael Philip Mossman, Patato Valdes and many more. Termidor publishes the music from these labels as well around the world.

Termidor's music has been a part of many documentaries or travelogues as well as feature films. "The Cartel", "Dirty Dancing", "The Specialist", "Mambo Kings", "The Perfume of Yvonne", "The Law of the Mafia" and "Carlito's Way" are some of the many uses of the catalog in film.
